What time do the shows start?
8:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m.
What time do the doors open?
Seating for the first show starts at 7:00 p.m.
Seating for the second show starts at 9:30 p.m.
Does the admission price include drinks?
No. The door admission is separate, and is paid in advance. In addition to the door admission there is a one drink minimum per person. This includes soft drinks, juices, and bottled water.

What is the minimum age to come to the Village Vanguard?
15 years old.
Are credit cards accepted?
We accept all major credit cards.
What’s the best way to get seats for a show?
Can I get a refund?
Refunds are limited to requests submitted within 24 hours of purchase. Tickets purchased within 24 hours of the show are final sale. This policy must be agreed to at time of checkout. (The $2.50 fee is not refundable)
Can I exchange my tickets for another show?
Yes — Only if your request is submitted within 24 hours of purchase and seats are available.
Who do I contact to request a refund or exchange?
Please send an email [email protected]. You MUST include your original confirmation email attachments for reference, any request not including the original confirmation will not be acknowledged.
Can reservations be made by phone?
Reservations are not accepted by phone or email. Our voicemail is monitored infrequently.
Can specific seats or tables be reserved?
No — seating is first come first served.
Is there a student discount?
The student discount — $5 off the door admission; Sunday-Thursday for the 10:00 show only — is offered at the discretion of the club at the time of entry.
Do you offer group discounts?
For parties of six or more people, a $3 service charge is added to the bill. This goes directly to the server. We cannot seat more than eight people together. Early arrival is strongly suggested for large parties.
I can’t buy tickets online: the “RSVP period has ended”, can I still get tickets?
The cutoff for online ticket purchases is 1 hour before showtime. Entry via standby is possible, but not guaranteed.
Do you have a waitlist; if a show is sold out, is there still a chance of getting in?
We do not have a waitlist — if you want to take a chance on getting in to a sold out show, join the standby line which usually starts forming about 30-45 minutes before each show. Entry is not guaranteed.
Are you handicap accessible?
No, the 15 steps down to the club are not wheelchair accessible.
